GREEK COMMITTEE FOR INTERNATIONAL DEMOCRATIC SOLIDARITY (EEDDA)

The Greek Committee for International Democratic Solidarity (EEDDA) was founded in September 1981. Its purpose is to provide, in all possible ways, political, economic, practical and moral solidarity and support to peoples fighting against imperialism to protect, uphold or reinstate their national and territorial independence, as well as respect for human rights, peace and social solidarity.

FAIR TRADE HELLAS

Fair Trade Hellas is a Greek non-governmental organization founded in 2004 with the legal form of non-profit organization. For the first time in Greece, FTH_2008 began to promote the concept of Fair Trade, which aims to fight poverty worldwide. The organization’s goal is to promote ethical and responsible consumption in Greece, as well as to promote small producers’ products from poor countries in the Greek market.

HANDICAP CARE HELLAS

Handicap Care Hellas (H.C.H) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 2003 and based in Athens, Greece. It is focusing on the cultivation and distribution of innovative-anthropocentric approaches and the undertaking of activities of positive action aiming at the complete and equivalent social and professional inclusion of people with walking disabilities.

KMOP

KMOP is one of the oldest Greek NGOs with more than 35 years of accumulated experience in the provision of services to disadvantaged groups. KMOP’s main areas of expertise include social welfare and health, employability and human rights protection, scientific research and the development of know-how in social policy issues. Apart from direct provision of services through decentralised community based facilities (Three Group Houses and one Day Care Centre for mentally ill as well as counseling centers in various towns) KMOP is also actively involved in both national and EU/international projects addressing social issues particularly focusing on low-skilled youth and long term unemployed, victims of violence and trafficking, disabled, elderly, migrants and minorities.

PRAKSIS NGO

PRAKSIS is an independent Non-Governmental Organization whose main goal is the design, application and implementation of humanitarian programs and medical interventions. Our main goal is the elimination of social and economic exclusion of vulnerable social groups and the defense of their personal and social rights. PRAKSIS has not yet started to implement development programs but this is within our objectives for 2015 concerning interventions in the public health sector.
